You are expected to behave in a manner which does not cause distress or inconvenience

to any other attendees or interfere with the running of the meets.

 The minimum age to attend the SotonFurs meets is 16. If you are under 16 please do not

attend or you will be asked to leave and potentially banned from further SotonFurs

events.

 Please do not attempt to buy or consume alcohol if you are under 18. Asking another

attendee to purchase alcohol on your behalf will result in a ban. If you are asked by

someone under 18 to purchase alcohol for them please report this to the staff

immediately.

 Please be aware that outside the venue is a drinking controlled area and alcohol from the

venue may not be brought outside.

 Please drink in moderation. If you become a liability due to excess consumption of alcohol

you will be asked not to drink at future meets and based upon your behaviour, may

receive a ban.

 As this is a 16+ meet, public display of adult materials, including pornography, sex toys

and BDSM equipment is prohibited. If you are an artist displaying work, please keep adult

material in a closed folder or portfolio.

 Do not partake in any activity that would be considered inappropriate in a public place in

any part of the venue.

 Commercial photography and filming are to be undertaken only with the prior permission

of the SotonFurs committee and the attendees who are subject to this.

 Weapons, handcuffs or any offensive items are not allowed at the SotonFurs meets.

 Imitation weapons made from soft materials and toy guns such as Nerf blasters may be

allowed provided they do not clearly resemble genuine weapons and are not swung or

fired within the venue. You may be asked to put such items away or leave them with the

bar staff. Failing to respect this will result in your exclusion from the venue.

 Attendees caught using, carrying or distributing any illegal materials or substances will be

removed from the venue and the police notified.

 Equipment belonging to the venue and the SotonFurs staff, such as the audio equipment

or the loudhailer, is for the use of venue and SotonFurs staff members only. Please don’t

touch or use this equipment without prior permission.
